The core of my approach

The right environment matters more than the perfect role.

This principle comes from the work of Prof. Bas Kodden, The Art of Sustainable Performance. Someone who joins an environment that fits will show what they can do and naturally shape their own role. Most people choose the role that looks attractive and get stuck on the environment. That is why my work centres on the fit with the environment, in executive search and in career guidance and outplacement.

About me

Between two worlds

I worked for 24 years in enterprise sales, more than twelve of them at Adobe as Senior Account Director, on director-level deals. Alongside that career I made a personal journey: I became a contextual therapist, Jane® Talent Developer and experienced practitioner in Nonviolent Communication.

I went through a career transition myself after that executive career. I know what it is to redefine where you want to go and how to get there; my guidance of others draws on that experience.

The thread running through my work is to decide on what has been measured, before the stakes become too high to turn back.

Executive search & data-driven recruitment

I measure work attitude, drivers and fit with the environment using the KAM 360° (with Empactify), the HELD scan and the Enneagram, before the client meets anyone. The measurement guides a STARRA in-depth interview; the judgement remains human work.

Career guidance & outplacement

Using the Jane® Talent Profile and the Enneagram I map talents and drivers, and translate that into a direction and an environment that demonstrably fits the person.

Strategic partnerships

As Director of Strategic Partnerships I make Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) scalable through the Big Four and Tier-1 firms. Risk and compliance are computed from the actual configuration of the infrastructure, rather than estimated.
